Meet a Mini Horse

Introduce kids to horses in a safe and approachable horsemanship lesson! You will be introduced to a miniature horse and learn how to groom and walk him.

Large horses can be intimidating to young people. Come meet a mini horse and learn about these magnificent creatures from Stormy, a gentle small horse. Your program will include learning how to groom a horse, taking a short walk, and touring his stall and outdoor paddock. Visits can also include a visit to the Carriage Room Museum and a scavenger hunt. To request a program for up to nine total participants, fill out the request form.
