Description

Featuring Jo Ellis: Director of Education & Outreach, Bay Area Lyme Foundation

Lyme disease is the fastest growing vector-borne illness in the US. In its acute stages, Lyme is an uncomfortable but highly treatable disease. Undiagnosed, however, it becomes a devastatingly difficult illness that becomes increasingly hard to identify or to treat. Jo will share the latest research on Lyme disease and information on how we can all recreate safely in our open spaces, prevent infection, and educate our friends and family.
